Victory Cruise Ships: Victory I & Victory II

VICTORY CRUISE LINES’ twin ships, M/V Victory I and Victory II, offer a timelessly luxurious experience on North America’s Great Lakes. Ideal for exploring the beautiful Great Lakes, VICTORY cruise ships are brimming with modern amenities, entertainment, educational opportunities. These smaller ships carry up to 202 passengers, creating an intimate feel where passengers can get to know each other. Noticeably smaller than some cruise vessels, these ships are perfect for navigating the narrow locks, canals, and ports of the lakes. On board, guests are taken care of by 80 trained staff members. Regardless of the ship or route, voyagers will have elegant, full-size rooms with the comforts of home and, of course, fantastic views of the Great Lakes with Victory Cruise Lines.

Victory Cruise Ships Staterooms and Suites

Both the M/V Victory I and Victory II come complete with opulent rooms for travelers. You’ll have the choice between a variety of suites or rooms, each with their own unique benefits. All VICTORY cruise ship rooms feature queen-sized beds, Egyptian cotton bedding, televisions, and private bathrooms. Every room has an outside facing window where travelers can watch the tranquil scenes of the Great Lakes.

Victory Cruise Ship Suites: Owners Suite

The Owner’s Suite is the best of the best as far as VICTORY cruises on the Great Lakes go. This grand room is the largest offering of VICTORY’s cruise ships, located on the third deck. On Victory I and Victory II, the Owner’s Suite has its own terrace, multiple entrances, and a living room with an additional pull-out bed. The suite offers the most wide-spanning views of all the rooms, ensuring its guests have an excellent Great Lakes voyage.

Victory Cruise Ships Staterooms: AA thru E

Victory I and Victory II each have a variety of staterooms available. The staterooms are categorized into AA, A, B, C, D, and E. All feature scenic views from the windows, queen-sized beds, desks, and personal storage. AA is located on the fourth deck, and has the best access of the staterooms to the outdoor decks. A, B, and C are located on the third deck, with some C staterooms also on the second floor. The D and E staterooms are located on the first deck. All staterooms are around the same size, with in-room essentials to ensure every guest feels at home.

Victory Cruise Amenities

Not limited to their rooms, voyagers will have access to a number of included amenities on board the Victory I and Victory II. Each voyage includes an enrichment program that gives guests access to lectures from knowledgeable experts and historians from the area. Cruisers will also be able to take shore excursions and explore unique areas along the Great Lakes. One excursion is included with each cruise package, but additional excursions are available to help guests maximize their time on the lakes.

In addition, voyagers will have access to an on board fitness center, spa, salon, and sun deck. The fitness center comes with all the things a fitness lover could need, including weights, a bicycle, treadmill, and more. The spa and salon can take care of all your grooming and personal needs, including haircuts, styling, and massages. The sun deck is a glorious spot to spend a day on the ship — a great place to relax and enjoy the sun on the lakes.

Victory I / Victory II Dining and Drinks

Each ship features two restaurants and two lounges, where travelers can eat and drink to their delight. Included with each cruise are free wine and beer at either of the on board lounges. The two restaurants on each ship — both identical — are:

  • The Coastal Dining Room. This classy dining establishment has seasonal offerings prepared by skilled chefs. The perfect spot for a nice brunch or date night on the ship.
  • The Grill. A more casual affair, The Grill has all the classics in a buffet format. A great place for the whole family, with delicious options for everyone.

While dining on each ship is always enjoyable, the lounges are one of its most popular features. Each features hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. VICTORY CRUISE LINES’ lounges are:

  • The Compass Lounge. This upscale cocktail lounge features live bands and picturesque views from its windows. Another great place to visit on a date night, The Compass Lounge is a classy affair not to be missed.
  • The Tavern. A casual, English-style pub where cruisers can kick back after a long day of massages and bouts on the Sun Deck. The Tavern is the perfect spot to grab a beer or cocktail at any time.

World-class dining and drinking is always just a step away on VICTORY’s Great Lakes cruise vessels. That and more are conveniently located on board so that guests can have the adventure of their choice while being catered to on the intimate, luxurious Victory I and Victory II.

STATEROOM/ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABLED GUESTS

VICTORY CRUISE LINES welcomes disabled guests; however, guests must realize that there are inherent risks associated with traveling on board ships that are unique to cruise travel. Handicap cabins are available upon request.  All staterooms are accessible by elevator.

For people who are ill or have a mental or physical disability or impairment, the risks can be more significant. Guests must be able to independently move around the ship in case of an emergency or rough seas, cope with the lack of immediate access to medical services in certain parts of the world and acknowledge that access to some areas of the ship and ports of call may be limited or impossible. Shore excursions may require the ability to traverse cobblestones or go up and down stairs. We reserve the right to determine whether a guest is fit to travel and to deny boarding in the event that a guest represents a risk to themselves or to the safety and well-being of those on board the ship.

When you make your reservation, please advise us of any disability that will require special attention while sailing on the Victory I or Victory II and provide a completed Fit to Travel Form along with a physician’s letter. Should you have any medical, physical or other special needs, check the fleet information to gain an understanding of the layout of the ship, and contact a Great Lakes Cruises Specialist at 1-888-756-9008 directly with additional questions and to obtain a copy of our terms and conditions.
