GreatLakesCruises.com is a sales agent for every cruise line that operates on the Great Lakes.
A fleet of six small vessels, the Ponant Explorers Cruise ships pair luxurious French design with state-of-the-art, environment friendly technology. On board each ship, seize the opportunity to travel the farthest reaches of the globe, sailing where larger, ocean-going vessels can’t. The small fleet is the perfect for navigating the channels, locks, and coves of The Great Lakes and North America.
Most cruise ships on the Great Lakes are significantly smaller than their oceanic counterparts, due the tighter locks and rivers they have to sail through. You’ll find that the vast majority hold less than 300 passengers, making cruises more immersive, personal, and spacious for you. On these cruises, you’ll have the chance to get to know other cruisers and crew members as you visit incredible destinations together.
Just like on a private yacht, the 92 staterooms and suites of the Ponant Explorers ships are the very embodiment of the cruise line’s spirit and approach. The eye-catching interiors are fresh and contemporary, with a bright, nautical color palette, and all staterooms and suites open onto a private balcony.
