Many ports of call also feature Silversea Selected excursions — premium activities available at an additional cost that can be booked ahead of your cruise. Two of the most luxurious ships sailing North America today, the Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow feature it all. Pampered relaxation, exhilarating entertainment, high-end shopping, delightful food — these are all things you’ll find on board while living in the lap of luxury.
The Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow each hold up to 388 guests in their suites, along with 302 crew members. At 610 feet long, the ships are significantly smaller than their ocean-going cousins, making them perfect for navigating the rivers of Canada and the bays of New England.
In addition, the Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow were remodeled in 2018 to an updated interior, featuring an entire Show Lounge, a Zagara Beauty Salon & Spa, a Casino, a Boutique, and a Connoisseur’s Corner — where one can sample upscale, hard-to-find liquors and cigars.
One of Silversea’s greatest features, every cruise is designed to be all-inclusive. The butler service, gratuities, food, and virtually every other feature on board is included. Off the ship, private transfers and included economy airfare — or reduced business class airfare — will take you from your doorstep all the way to the ship, making every part of the journey as easy as possible.
While every journey is designed to be as inclusive as possible, there are specific upgrades available as well. The premium Selected Excursions are available at additional cost (prices vary). Specialty liquors, cigars, wines, and spa and salon treatments may also be added to your cruise cost, discretely charged as you check out at the end of your journey.
